Stopped by The Shark River Inlet today in between rain storms. The wind was incredibly strong and the wave action was non stop. Far too dangerous for any surfer, these waves were pounding the rocky entrance into the inlet with angry aggression. There were no boats venturing out today, no fisherman on the jetty, no one sitting on the beach. Just curious locals like myself that love to look at a good storm.
This guy was hanging out behind the gazebo which blocked the wind. I guess he realized that a jump into the sky meant he was off on a long journey where ever the winds would take him. I didn’t see any other sea birds and wonder where they hide in these kinds of storms.
