Rose of Sharon

A magical bloom so easy to grow! I see these scattered all around the Shore as hedges, trees and growing wild along the roadside. Vibrant summer color like the tropical hibiscus, a haven for bees, butterflies and humming birds.

This stunning flower has its roots in the Bible as a reference to pure beauty. It’s no wonder that we still adore them today for their ease of growth, their lure to the birds and insects and most of all to those of us that plant them.
